About Us

The Fredericksburg Clinic has a proud history dating back to March 27, 1937, when Dr. Perry T Donop purchased the old Louis Herbort Store on the corner of South Adams  and East San Antonio Street. There they built and first established  the Donop Hospital and Clinic. He later sold the facility to Dr.s Lester Keyser, Lorence Feller, and Hebert Feller in 1939. They changed the name to  Fredericksburg Hospital and Clinic.
In 1971 the name was changed to it's current title, Fredericksburg Clinic. This coincided with the opening of Hill Country Memorial Hospital, as the medical community in Fredericksburg continued to grow.  In 1999, the Clinic moved to its current location at 1308 South State Highway 16, following the construction of a new, spacious, state of the art facility.

The original founders have all since passed away, but have left us with a proud heritage of providing excellence in medical care in a hometown atmosphere.
